Elephant Stew

As told by Marilyn Kirk
Camp Director Luseland Bible Camp

1 Elephant
2 Rabbits (Optional)
Seasonings: Salt & Pepper to taste

  • Cut the Elephant into small pieces... this may take up to two months, depending on speed, endurance and length of coffee breaks.
  • Add enough brown gravy to cover and season as desired.
  • Cook over a stove for about 4 weeks at 365 F
This recipe will serve approx 3800 people, if more people are expected, add the two rabbits.....but do this "only" if necessary as most people do not like to get a "hare" in their stew. Preparation time is approx 3 months plus or minus a day.

This recipe is great if planning a family reunion or may feed an entire summer's worth of campers and stops the question from being asked of "What's for supper tonight?"
