A week of variable weather

Monday....to Saturday....
Beautiful day....to Blizzard....

Happy Easter Grace????

Well, I thought it would be nice to get Grace some flowers for Easter....So on Saturday I went and got flowers and a happy face helium balloon to take to her.

This is how that went:
Grace: Get those out of here
Me: You haven't even seen them yet, let me take the paper off
Grace: I DON'T want them - take them away
Me: But they are really nice!
Grace: Maybe you like them, but I don't!
Me: What do you like then?
Grace: Liver.
Me: Well, I'm not bringing you liver...what else do you like?
Grace: Cigars
Me: I'm not bringing you cigars either
Grace: Just go
Me: Okay, will you keep the happy face balloon at least?
Grace: No response.....(I took that as a yes!)

We'll have to put our "picnic in the park"
on hold for now.

Bridge is fine....but can't get there from any side!

"April Showers" gone wrong...

"April showers bring May flowers"?
...might have to go with silk flowers this year...
