Goodbyes.....

 Tomorrow Lindsey begins her journey
back to school in California.
It was fun to spend some time with her before she goes.

Michaela leaves for school in Halifax on Thursday.
We will really miss having her here but hope
she has a great year!

Smoked Turkey

The Spence family was brave enough to
join us for Terry's first attempt at
smoking a turkey.
He did a great job and it was fun
to spend some time with their family!

Prairie Skies

Many of these shots were taken as we
were driving in the mission car through Saskatchewan.
God's artwork is so beautiful...never get tired of the pretty skies!

When at Stoney Lake Bible Camp, it's tradition to
go for a pontoon boat ride before sunset.
Every few seconds there is a new scene.
Better than any movie!

Farm Trees

The wheat field was cut really early this year!

Bethany's thoughtful gift!

Yesterday we went to Tyler and Kelsey's to watch
them open their gifts.  Tyler's new little sister, Bethany,
loves to do crafts........and knowing how much
Tyler loves pizza she MADE this pizza sleeping bag
for him.  Maybe you can't see in the background that Tyler
had ordered us PIZZA for supper!
----------------------------------------------------
So neat how God worked it out that they'd be
living in the basement suite at Matt Hagen's
brother's house!

A little rest after a long walk...such a nice evening

Happy Birthday Dad!

Thankful for my Dad, celebrating 78 years young
on August 6th.
Still moves and runs around better and faster than we do!

Water

 I love water.
I love the way it glistens in the sun when it's windy.
Nickle Lake looks good from a distance, but
not so great up close....thankful for this water supply
(and for water filtration!)

Family Camp weekend

A great surprise to see our national directors for One Hope Canada,
Bill & Bev McCaskell, show up with matching shirts.
We had to do a selfie of that!
Bill did a great job as chapel speaker, starting
with the question "Who is Jesus?"
Of course we had water, fire, games and ice cream.

A few unexpected activities throughout the weekend
included a line leak, blown breakers, plugged sewer,
rain and hail, and the park shutting the water off.
Minor inconveniences, really.

Terry, Jeff and Brad fixed the leak while
Patricia & I and the boys watched for our
Saturday afternoon activity.
