Pumpkin growing contest

 

Several of the men in the church joined

in a fun little pumpkin growing 

competition the summer.

Wednesday night they had their weigh in...

and of course some food!

A few little awards as well.

Amazing how God uses a seed in the ground

and grows these big pumpkins with

many little new seeds tucked inside!

Quick mountain weekend

After Calgary, we took a quick

weekend trip to Banff and Radium Hot Springs.

Found a new favourite little coffee shop

in Radium but won't likely

get there too often (sadly).

He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock...

Then, just like that, we were back to the prairies...

A little piece of heaven!

Great times of worship through music, 

outstanding Bible teaching 

and communion together.  

What a blessing!

Thankful..

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.

Worship the Lord with gladness;

come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the Lord is God.  

It is he who made us and we are his;

we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving

and his courts with praise;

give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever,

his faithfulness continues through all generations.
