Holiday Activities

Gotta play some Train to Mexico during
the holidays!
Always great when Ruger will sit and enjoy
his bone during our game instead of knocking over
all the dominoes!
Charissa was kind enough to fit in a haircut
for Kelsey while she was down...Thanks CC!
Pizza, Poutine and Football on a Sunday afternoon.
It is tradition to watch hockey and cheer for Canada at the Klassens

A little shooting time with Dad.

And some of Terry's smoked chicken wings.  Yum!

Christmas Eve 2015

My apologies to those at the table, as I didn't really
warn them I was snapping pictures!

We played a few Christmas Carols with
Tyler on piano, CK on his harmonica and
Kelsey playing her new violin that
she got a week before.
She is excited to learn and will take it
on Encounter with her for the 2nd semester.

We enjoyed watching a hilarious game the kids
were playing! We enjoyed just being spectators.

  Hopefully more photos to come.
Charissa got a new camera and she took
a variety of group photos....stay tuned!

Caroling with Seniors

Such a great time singing at three
seniors homes before Christmas!
We went to the Weyburn Special Care Home,
but didn't see Grace while we were there.
Last time I brought some friends to sing to her,
she told me "Don't ever bring them back here".
Tis the season to be jolly (not for everyone!)
Thanks to Janelle for playing her guitar.
She had sore fingers after 13 songs at each location!

Loved having the little girls ringing the jingle bells
and they handed out candy canes to everyone we saw!
We love singing with Lorna.  She is always so appreciative
and knows all the words!

Equip Conference

One Hope Canada's New Missionary Orientation Conference
hosted by Dallas Valley Ranch Camp.
Group Photo with the new missionaries and other staff.

Great music throughout the conference!
This was in November...still nice enough for
an outdoor game - and no snow!
A little game of Mennonite Monopoly to get to know each other.

He popped the question and she said Yes!

Charissa & I were privileged to
witness Tyler's proposal to Kelsey South
at Mason Christmas Tree farm on
October 17th.
He thought of every detail
with her in mind!

The owner joined in the fun....and then
it was time for us to hide!
After he read a letter he wrote to her,
he popped the question.
She said "yes, yes, yes"

Tyler politely invited Charissa and I to leave
before their meal together haha.
What a great time!

See you later, Auntie Mina!

This morning our sweet Mina went to be with Jesus.
Mom was at her bedside as she peacefully passed.
We can hardly put into words how this
sweet, quiet little lady touched our lives.
She taught us more about
the fruit of the spirit and humility
by her life that we even realize yet.
We miss her already, but are thrilled
that she is in Paradise and we
will see her again soon!
