Camp Tour Windup

On our way home from our last official
camp tour for 2013,
we stopped for a walk around
Wascana Park.
A beautiful day and relaxing way
to end our travels.

Baby in arms = Joy

I was thrilled to spend the afternoon holding
two week old Noah while at Madge Lake Bible Camp.
His mom is such a 'super mom camp director wife' -
she planned her C-section around camp registration and
windup and also has two other little boys to chase!

Garden Party

Great afternoon for a garden party.
Mary from Uganda shared with us
the dream of starting Living God Bible Camp
for the children in Uganda....the team has
such a desire to see this new opportunity for sharing
the gospel with the children and youth.
Much to be done as right now all they have
is a donated piece of land (for which they are thankful!)
Pray for Uganda when you think of it.

this week's adventures

The water was completely still at Stoney Lake Bible Camp
Tuesday night as we went on the pontoon boat.
After chapel each night we went to Doug & Rose's house
for a "Hawkins Cheezies" party.
What a great view they have from their deck!!

Then we were off to Kenosee to visit everyone there.
Jenna broke two bones in her hand while being the camp nurse!!

We met Mary from Uganda who came with Christine to
tour some of our camps as they begin planning
a new camp in Uganda called "Living God Bible Camp".

Camp will be a new opportunity to reach kids with
the gospel in Uganda....We are excited for what God will do!

Anyone want to sign up for a trip to Uganda
in winter 2014??

Happy 75th Birthday, Dad!

 Thankful to celebrate Dad's 75th
birthday today....Love you!!

Friends....

We had such a good weekend with
our long time friends at Family Camp.
We made at stop at the Chessall's cabin
and took this picture since they were
unable to make it....
(pretending we are helping them
with their new flooring).
Lee (who took the picture)
actually DID help them get started!
