The Fruits of My Labour

Four hours in the hot Saskatchewan Sun.
Millions of mosquitos and the smell of Amway bug spray, with woodticks everywhere. Sharp buckbrush needles and rosebush thorns. Stained dark purple hands and fingers = Four gallons of Wild Saskatoon Berries; enough for 15 pies, and a winter's supply of sundae sauce with fresh DQ icecream, not to mention Saskatoon Cheese Cakes.

The look in my wife's eye and smile on her face: PRICELESS!
