Zander

Last Saturday we had a scare when Zander 

choked on a piece of carrot.  He

developed pneumonia and he and his daddy

spent five nights in hospital.

We are so thankful for the many that prayed for

him and his family.  

He is home and getting strength back.

 He got right to getting the dishes done

when he got home from hospital haha

Grandma and Zig got to spend lots of time

together.  And did a few snapchat poses together.

Goodbye Souris School

I was never one who liked goodbyes...

The decision to tear down Souris School, 

the school where all our kids went for their

first seven years of school and I had the chance

to work for one year, was not one I approved of!

So sad to see it gone, 

but thankful for the good memories there.

 

Winter Path

The mountain bike club made some great paths

through the trees last year.  Great for walking too.

The frosty trees are gorgeous, I gotta say, 

even as a person who dislikes winter!

 

Treasured Friend

Had the pleasure of helping this beauty with her

 Pre-School classes on Comfy day just before Christmas.

She has been such a great friend, prayer partner

and (1984 NIV) Scripture memorization partner!

 

Mid-December Family Christmas

 

Worked out well having an early Christmas 

as we were able to spend a good afternoon at

the Sparks Centre.
