The valley was beautiful last weekend as
we headed to Lumsden on the back road.
Joined Josiah and Kelsey to take in
the Pumpkin and Scarecrow festival there.
Saw lots of scarecrows, but not many pumpkins!

September Long Weekend
Terry smoked a turkey and ribs. Yum!

Quick getaway
Thankful for the opportunity to walk up Sulphur Mountain
to see the new 26 million dollar redevelopment.
1 hour and 25 minutes up and
1 1/2 hours on the way down.
This was the first time we went the "extra mile"
and walked to the weather station beyond the gondola building.

Also walked to the Lake Louise Tea House
and cooled our feet in the very cold water.
It was also nice to enjoy the flowers
as we usually go off season and don't get
to see them in full bloom.
