Heritage Fair

My dad provided Nathan with some old phones for his

Heritage Fair project.  We went to see his display last night.

I guess you are never really done with school projects haha!

Johnny's Birthday

Had a little cupcake party

after prayer meeting last night

to celebrate Johnny Hansen's 92nd birthday.

We are blessed to call him our friend.

Evening with friends

 It was great to spend the evening with

CK & Elsie as well as Levi, Jenn & Asher yesterday.

Of course Asher was the center of attention :)

Grandmas

 Grandmas are such special people in our lives.

On January 28th, my Grandma Schmidt would have

been 115 years old and my Grandma Larson would have

been 110 years old.  So neat that they shared the same b'day.

I am thankful for their influence in my life.

One day Grace told her to take a picture...so she did!

(This was not the day her hair got cut.)

Kathy cuts hair at the Special Care Home,

and as soon as the staff heard that Grace

was willing to get her hair cut, they rushed to Kathy

and had her put her other appointments on hold.

"Happy New Year" - she had a bath,

got her toe nails cut, and got a haircut!

Off to a great start for 2015.

I wish I would have written down

what she said to Brittany and I last time

we visited, but I totally forget

exactly what she said.  It was so funny.

Let's just say she wasn't super appreciative 

about our visit :)
