Goin' to the chapel

A beautiful ceremony, performed by Brian Wiens.

Brian got to know Eric & Charissa through pre-marital counseling.

He used passages from Genesis 2 and Mark 7 in his

address to the couple and also the image of

a polished rock - one that has been through friction

and rubbing together to become smooth and shiny!

They will be off to Mexico next weekend

where they will have a more formal ceremony.

After the ceremony, we had a beautiful

lunch at their new home.

Birthday visit...

We got in on a little birthday party

with Mr. Shauf today.

We sang Happy Birthday and at the end

he sang along "and many more".

98 years and counting...

We got in some hymn singing and he

joined in perfect harmony.

I was thankful that the ladies also made

time to go visit and sing for Mina.

She has been waiting for us a long time!

Happy New Year

On new year's day we went for a visit

to the Special Care Home.

First stop - Mina's

Yup, she was happy!

Next stop - Grace's and....

Yup, she was happy!

her new year's resolution or something!

(or maybe it was because we brought candy??)

The craft below was in amongst a cup of

straws on her dining table.

I asked her what it was and she said it

was a shower curtain - and then she laughed as

only Grace can (we joined her!)

I should have this picture positioned the other direction

because she said the nose was pointing

to a quarter after three!

Cool observation I thought!

She was a bit annoyed at the camera.

Kelsey asked for a picture with her and

she told Tyler to move back...way back...

haha....a fun visit!
