 Kathy's traditional surprise birthday party

that she always knows is happening.

This year she had a surprise as Delbert and Fritz

came for a visit!

Party at Hansens

 Great food and fun that ended with

a game where if you rolled a six

you put on the hat and gloves and tried to open

layers of gift wrap until someone

else rolled a six and took over.

In the final box was a Tim Card won by Lee!

Christmas 2014

Traditional Christmas Eve

Christmas Day with the Kerrs.

Unfortunately we didn't do any

group picture in Midale. 

Thelma's Christmas Party

Brittany's friend, Thelma, has such a great family.

They own the bowling alley and had a 

little Christmas Party there this week.

Thelma had some crazy

ice breaker games!

And, of course, they fed us very well.

Puppy Time

Last Friday, Brittany picked up this little guy.

Her new pup, Ruger.

He wasn't sure what to think of my fake dog haha

A visit from Selingers

 Fun to catch up with Greg & Lorenda Selinger.

They spoke in church about their time in 

Uganda and did a great job sharing

that experience with us.

Food Processor Update...

Before I threw it away,

Terry said "why don't you get your dad to look at it"

So, I did -

It now works just like new - thanks Dad!

...and now you know the REST of the story.

Goodbye old friend!

During mid-use, my trusted food processor died tonight.

I have had it for over 27 years and have used it

almost every day for 27 years.

It never let me down until now.

Goodbye....I miss you already...you served me well!

 

At least I don't have to wash it tonight :)

Christmas Musical at Millar

Last weekend we were able to attend

Millar College of the Bible's Christmas Musical:
Baboushka:  A Russian Folk Tale.

Lots of work went into sewing all the costumes!

It made it even more fun that Kelsey was in it.

Grace

 Although Grace has caught on to the fact that

a cell phone can take a picture, she seems

to allow Terry to get away with it!
Though she didn't smile for the camera,

she was in a good mood here.
She had two glasses of cranberry juice and

two glasses of milk and we brought her

and her friend each a Wagon Wheel for their snack.

Ummmm, let's just say she is in need of a Spa Day!
(But she doesn't agree.....so far, she wins that battle)

Surprise visit!

Had a great surprise visit from Martin & Anne Harder

yesterday as they were passing through to Estevan.

Though they have been through a tough year,

they continue to praise God and faithfully serve Him

as they travel to many churches 'for the sake

of the children' with Compassion Canada.

One Hope Canada National Team

 Earlier this month we got to spend the weekend 

in Moose Jaw with

many of the One Hope Canada Directors

from across the country.
Phil & Esther Ruten from Millar College of the Bible

were able to join us and Phil shared many great

biblical truths about Christian leadership.

for all the work they put into planning the weekend!

Sunday for lunch, a few of us went out to Deja Vu.

Here is everyone waiting with

great anticipation...Juanita (front left) had

scouted out everyones meals as we

got seated so was pretty excited at this point!

Everyone was quite filled up after

chicken, ribs, milkshakes and deep fried pickles!
