Nice day for a fall picnic

 We had a little celebration for Mom and Dad

during the afternoon since we hadn't gotten

together during the summer.

It was a very nice afternoon...

and it was nice that Inez and Elwood were

still here to join us.

We will miss you, Don!

Uncle Don left us on September 12, 2013.

His funeral was held on September 16, 2013.

His story was one of hope, that though

he went through many trials and struggles,

he persevered and overcame.

His funeral service was a message of the

hope we have in Christ.

Please keep his 14 year old son, Zach,

in your prayers!

Happy Birthday to a great friend.

I have followed Patricia for many years now.

First, I worked with her at White Cross Drugs 

while in high school, 

then followed her to Shell Canada,

then she got married; I got married

she had a baby girl; I had a baby girl

she worked for the school division; 

I worked for the school division

her daughter went to U of R for her BBA;

my daughter went to U of R for her BBA.

Happy Birthday dear friend.... 

Everyone who gets entangled in my 'photo ops'

is sick of re-takes as my camera consistently

says "blink detected" and I make them pose

for one more shot...Jim is testing the 

theory by closing his eyes!

Wedding Shower

 Charissa's bridesmaids had a bridal shower

for her yesterday in Regina.  Good food, gifts and friends.

filled with love and joy.

The Last "First"

 Today was the Last First....

The last "first day" of school for our family

as Kelsey has now entered Grade 12.

Teen weekend windup at Kenosee

 Sizzling Summer End was a great way

to spend the long weekend before 'reality' set in today!

What a great cleaning staff I had to work with!

 Chicken, ribs, corn on the cob, baked potatoes,
greek salad and garlic toast...yum!
