Grace's Birthday

chose not to attend her party!

In July Lori & Melanie stopped by the farm for a visit.
Melanie wanted to preview her farm pictures before I could blog them!  It was great that Lori and Larson were able to come back for a visit at the end of August before Larson started school!

We are so thankful for the things that
grew in the garden - even though we

have been somewhat neglectful this summer!

We have also had a good crop of strawberries this summer - great for eating right off the vine or putting in a fruit smoothy.

Tyler's Farewell

On Friday we dropped Tyler off at Millar College of the Bible, This was our farewell except we substituted the salute for a hug but the lines were the same. His mother thought we were a little weird, and I am sure she will post more formal pics later. It was a private moment between a father and son that only we understand.
