Kelsey's next adventure

Yesterday was the day we dropped Kelsey
off to begin her year at Millar College of the Bible.
She was glad that her friend Jessica
will be living just across the hall!

After our goodbyes, we headed home...
well, we tried to...I won't explain why
we left and came back - twice.
On the bright side of that - we saw a great sunset
on our final attempt at heading home!
A picture through a dirty window doesn't
make for the best picture, but you get the idea.

Midale

It has been nice to have a field of corn
as it makes a great fence!

We have had lots of apple cake & apple crisp
the last couple weeks!

Baptist Baptism

It was great to see Tessa get baptized on Sunday
by Pastor Michael.  Due to a leaking baptismal tank,
they used the town swimming pool and
then went back to the church for a potluck lunch.

It was also great to see
Garth & Sandra's daughter, Carleen.

Saskatoon Bound....

Tyler packed up his stuff and headed off
for Saskatoon this past weekend.  He will
be living there for the next couple of
months as part of his apprenticeship program.

Kenosee

Got to spend a few days at KLBC
during Pre-Teen week.
Kelsey's cabin won the bid for the Royal Breakfast
on Friday morning!  Yum!

The moon was so beautiful on the lake -
this picture doesn't do justice to the beauty!

Celebrating...

There were not many days that we were home
during the summer...and it was a very rare thing that
we were home and Kelsey was home on the same day...
AND it was Grandpa's Birthday....
so we celebrated with a Skor trifle.

Kevin & Karen's Wedding

Haven't been posting for quite awhile!
Kevin & Karen had a very nice back yard
wedding on July 12th.

Road Trip

Tyler & Dylan left this morning for a road trip to BC.
Hope they have a great week of adventure!

Slack Line

Due to overhead power lines and budget cuts,
the ferris wheel has been replaced by a slack line
and a $19.99 Canadian Tire blow up swimming pool.
Business is booming so far!
